Obituary - Mr Paul Walton

It is with deep sadness that we announce the recent passing of one of the founders of Toolroom Technology Ltd., Mr. Paul Walton.

In 1987, Paul and two colleagues started the company from modest beginnings and subsequently expanded TTL into a globally recognised organisation. The underlying principles they set out for engineering innovation, workmanship and integrity have earned the trust and respect of clients around the world.

Following an engineering apprenticeship and early career in the machine tool industry, he pioneered the development of our Adaptive Machining technology at TTL which remains at the heart of our business activities today.

Paul was a friend and mentor to many in the extended TTL family. Proud of his Yorkshire roots, his humility and enthusiasm touched the lives of those he encountered. He will be missed by both colleagues and customers who had the privilege of knowing him.

The staff at TTL wish to pay our respect and extend our condolences to Paul’s family and close ones at this time.

We will honour his memory by continuing to uphold the values upon which the business was founded.
